IMAGINATION REMIX

One of the most important responsibilities adults have is to provide opportunities of celebration for the big and (sometimes more importantly) little accomplishments made by youth. Whether you have children of your own or not, it is critical that we all get involved in these celebrations.

We at Audacity Urban Youth Project take this very seriously. We know that working hard in mastering a camera, getting THE shot, and then seeing it on display in a public venue brings a sense of competence and accomplishment that is critical to the positive

development of youth. The validation of seeing their artwork hanging on a wall for the world to see is empowering.

That is why we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Starbucks to bring you IMAGINATION REMIX: A Youth Photo Exhibit featuring students from Emerson Middle School and Westwood Charter Elementary School.

The exhibit will run March 25-April 8 with an exhibit opening on March 25, 5:00-7:00 p.m.

You have the opportunity to meet the young photographers, enjoy their photos, and best of all PURCHASE their artwork! Because we teach entrepreneurship in addition to mastering a camera, proceeds from the artwork purchased goes directly to the photographer.

For more information on the exhibit or being a sponsor of the event, please contact us.

The Place We Like to Call HOME

It's official. WE are official. After years of prep work, networking, listening, sharing...Audacity Urban Youth Project has found its home.

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Empowerment Works, a 501(3)(c) organization, and our fiscal sponsor. It truly is empowering when someone else feels the vision we share at Audacity. Thank you Melanie St. James and Empowerment Works for breathing life into Audacity Urban Youth Project.

You, too, can be a part of our story. Lives are being changed simply by putting cameras in the hands of youth. There are many ways to get involved in executing the mission of Audacity.

We're creating a new generation of artists and entrepreneurs.

Will you join us?
